Quick NFL Hitters:

  • The Ravens and the 49’ers both look unbeatable. They have unique, talented players on both sides of the ball. They’re physical. They can run the ball. Or score in bunches quickly. The MVP will likely come out of this game. Ravens win, Jackson wins the MVP. Niners win, Purdy or perhaps McCaffrey sneaks in.
  • My Christmas wish? A week of NFL football without the refs deciding a game. It’ll be time for the competition committee to look at officiating and it’s impact on the game this off-season. Expect offensive offsides to be re-evaluated. It’ll still be a penalty but it might require a warning first.
  • It’s a match-up of the Cant’s. Cowboys can’t win on the road. Cowboys can’t beat physical teams. Cowboys got their butts kicked last week. The Bills ran the ball 49 times. That’s embarrassing. The Dolphins can’t beat good teams. They win big or lose big. But they get Tyreek back. Both need the win for psychological reasons if nothing else.
  • Belichick and Tomlin each on the hot seat? Say it ain’t so. Patriots aren’t close to being a competitive playoff team, so Belichick may not want to go through a re-build. Tomlin shouldn’t be going anywhere, period.

Saints vs. Rams - Rams

Bengals vs. Steelers - Bengals

Bills vs. Chargers - Bills, Bills are in bully mode.

Colts vs. Falcons - Colts

Packers vs. Panthers - Packers

Browns vs. Texans - Browns

Lions vs. Vikings - Lions need this one.

Commanders vs. Jets - Jets, ugly, ugly game. I know the Jets don’t have a viable offensive line but they are at home and I don’t think the Commanders can score. Might be a 10 - 3 type of game.

Seahawks vs. Titans- Seahawks

Jaguars vs. Buccaneers - Jaguars

Cardinals vs. Bears - Cardinals

Cowboys vs. Dolphins - Dolphins

Patriots vs. Broncos - Broncos

Raiders vs. Chiefs - Chiefs

Giants vs. Eagles - Eagles bounce back in a dominate fashion
